Hello Management,

can you clarify "closure" of the forum. Does this mean that the forum will be removed and all posts lost? If this is the case, would it be possible for the posts to be archived to a text file and be made available for download?

Cheers,
Chris.

Hello Stebbo,

We are currently looking into the cost of getting all the posts archived and will be able to answer this within the next couple of days.

Best wishes,
Management.

At this stage we are definitely introducing the following private forums in early 2005.

Thoroughbred horse racing
AFL fooball betting
NRL Rugby League betting
ATP Tennis betting
Soccer betting
Golf betting
NFL Gridiron betting
MLB baseball betting
NBA basketball betting

These private forums will be restricted to members of these betting packages though.

We are still considering which new public forums to create. Possibly AFL football because of the broad appeal. We are open to suggestions. We don't want to spread our public forums too thin though, because each forum requires a certain level of activity to be interesting.

The other limiting factor is that we are a company and can't put infinite resources into moderating forums unless there is a clear commercial benefit. Without moderation forums often spiral downwards into a miasma of personal abuse and ads for snake oil.

Management.
