Having been laying favorites in specific races each day for the last 12months a daily pattern has started to emerge and i would be interested if any one has statistics to confirm this pattern over time.

To be more precise i am only laying races that are not maidens.

Their are further filters that bring the number of bets per week down to an average of 45.

I would like some general figures on the % of favorites that win each day of the week . My sample is only 1800races .

Clearly Saturday has the most bets.

I bet at all meetings where their is sufficient liquidity.

The only filter applied is to exclude maidens.

It is interesting that Monday with my system is the best lay day
albiet with the least number of bets
Nonetheless the difference is significant.
It will be interesting if this holds up over time
Conversley Tuesday is my worst day.
I wonder whether any training changes might have any effects on this.
Meaning changes to normal racing and training to facilitate racing on Monday.

Couldn't agree more wesmip1, I generally find that the "pin" works best for picking winners on those days. LOL

Last Saturday was a great day to be a layer.

The best comment I heard on 4tab was "just back all the good things all up at Rosehill." The first one ran last.
