Default will this work?

Let me know what you think of this:

look at the pp fav

Ignore jumps, maidens and 2 y/o races
race distance must be 2400m or less
no more than 12 in field (after scr)
must have a win % of 25 or more
must have a win from last 4 strarts from a spell

All comments are welcome,
Mike

Mike, I answer not as an aaaaaa but as someone that has spent many years looking at PP favs. This is what I found to work:

25% win + 50% place record (at least 5 starts)
less than 2000 metresonly
no 3kg claimers
a METRO win in last 4 starts, and absolute golden rule: Metro run last start!!
no jumps amatuer, female jocks only, or races for maidens and or fillies only
finished within 3.5 lengths of winner last start (within 21 days)
delete any horse carrying more than 60k'gs and/or more than 7 years old
rated at at least 97 (unitab)
placed at least once at todays distance and todays track conditions
8-12 runners only after scratchings

and lastly make sure you use the same source of PP fav at all times never mix,
i.e if sportsman always sportsman etc etc.

and absolute last ALWAYS bet at BEST TOTE/SP

What I have found is try not to bet any horse with an apprentice jockey on any distance of 1800+metres because these distances are usually a race of tactics which only comes from years of experience.

Actually here is a lay plan that works well

RULES
.Target 1800+m races.

.Target the 2 paper favs in PP market.

.Target any apprentice that maybe on either one of them.

.No bet if both have apprentices on board.

.Must be 6.00 & less.

.Bet 1% of bank.

Cheers.

Thank you gentlemen for your responses. You have given me lots to ponder over the long weekend, in this thread and others.
I've not made lay bets befor and is something I need to look at. And I need to get the BF betbot working.

Thanks again,
Mike.

Once you have opened up your Betfair account.
You will notice that their min bet is high , $6.00 I believe.
.
Download BetTraderPro (Free)
It makes betting on Betfair a lot easier.
One can now make 1c bets if need be .

Cheers.

Morning Bhagwan, you are up early.

I've downloaded BetTraderPro, now I have to learn how to use it. I want it to place my bets at say $1.20-$2.00 to place and others at $2.80 - $11.00 to win. I've no work, just family commitments for the next 4 days, hope thats enough time to work it out.
Mike.

Dead-set Bhagwan do you have some affiliation with BetTraderPro?

Plenty of other tools are out there that allow you to bet under the Betfair minimum (and other cool things).

Hi Goty,
You sound terse towards me for some reason.
Is it for showing someone a program that does not cost money?

BetTraderPro is also easily assessable.

I notice you have not offered a compromise . Why is that?
Just weird criticism.

I hope you are not having a shot at us.
Because if you are, its the main reason why many others do not post on this forum & why its so quiet.

If your post is to only bring to hi-lite that I have not mentioned some of the others & neither have you my friend, with whats available , well here it is.

They all cost money, some cost hundreds a year to rent but never own.

Betting Assistant
Laz-IE
Grey Horse Bot
Bet Angle
Market Feeder Pro.
Auto Bet.
Gruss
BetGrail
Auto-Betfair 1.0
UGS
Betting Masterpiece by ie-software
Lay Trader
Supreme Trading System
Fairbot
BetBotPro

These are the two that I use.
Fairbot $132 a year
BetBotPro $161 a year + update costs.

Some may like to add to the list.

Cheers.

Damn it, the tool I wanted is from BetBotPro! I'm not ready to pay for a bot right now.

I have nothing against you or the program Bhagwan. I just noticed a pattern that you would often tell people to get BetTraderPro. I think on a fairly heavily moderated forum which doesn't like people promoting sites/products it might be better to recommend people to "find a free betting bot" instead of mentioning a specific one.

As far as the program goes...I've used a handful of bots and BetTraderPro was one of the best. I've moved on since then but it is a good place to start, along with several others.

Anyway lets leave this here as I dont want to sidetrack this thread because of an observation I made.
