Long Layoff Lay system
Noticed today half a dozen or so horses returning from very long spells, as in plus 300 days. As a category how do they perform first up?
My database tells me that over the past 801 days, 3956 horses returned from a 300 plus day layoff to record 216 wins, 5.5% SR. Without any other filter it turned a 0.27% Lay profit. A Lay gimme!
Not so fast RP, there was one winner today, Totola Geelong 1, returning after 408 days. Its SP was $1.50 though!
