Geez, I wish I was that confident. I'm worried about this one. I think England (or should I say Jonny Wilkinson), will be very tough to beat. I actually backed England to win the World Cup last year when they were paying $5.50, but I certainly hope I lose that bet.

Before the tournament, I was picking a NZ/England final, but as the semi final drew closer, I became more and more confident that Australia could upset NZ. I just had the feeling that when the pressure was on, Australia would lift and NZ would crack. It's happened a few times before. I only hope that Australia haven't played their Final a week early!

A rugby player from Dublin is having a quiet drink in a Sydney Bar.

He leans over to the big guy next to him and says, "Do you wanna hear an Aussie joke?".

The big guy replies, "Well mate, before you tell that joke you should know something: I'm six feet tall, 105kgs and I'm a Wallaby forward. The guy sitting next to me is 6'2", weighs 115kgs and he's an ex-Wallaby. Next to him is a bloke who's 6'5" weighs 120kgs and he's a current Wallaby second-rower.

Now, do you still want to tell that Aussie joke?".

The Irishman says, "Nah..... not if I'm going to have to explain it three times".

I'm still buzzing from the experience. That match was a great match right from the very beginning.

In horse equivalent I can only imagine something like the time when Old Comrade beat Northerly (11/3/2002 Flem). A lot of guts and P Harvey/L Smith had the tactics to maximise Old Comrade's strengths to counter Northerly's big ability.

Heres a joke for you all
and please dont anyone take offence, I heard it recently and thought it was a crack up!!!!!!!Yet I know it is a touchy one, so please dont take it the wrong way!

Ok here goes.....

The Aussie coach goes over to the middle east to find some talent.

To his surprise he picks up the best player he has ever seen, he brings him back and signs him up strait away.

Now this guy gees, he is the best, he kicks all the goals makes all the tackles and to no doubt his side wins the game and he is the man of the match!

After the game his coach sais....

I am so proud of you son, but you know what, your mum would be even prouder, you gotta ring her and let her know!!!!!

So that he does, he calls up his mum and sais excitedly "mum, mum you wouldnt beleive it, because of me, my team thrashed the other side, I got man of the match, and everyone thinks I am the greatest!

After a pause his mum replies "Son i cant belleive you you are so selfish, its all your fault"

In amazment the son said "what, what is all my fault"

His mum replies "Well your father is dead, the house has a hundred thousand bullet holes in it....look strait to the point son...if it wasnt for you we wouldnt be living in Punchbowl"

Come on guys it is a funny one!
