Mitch Newman rode his first group winner this week and in two weeks he comes out of his time. This rider when given the right horse can boot them home and it will be interesting to see if he is able to ride in the top ranks when he comes out. He has won the Sydney apprentice title 2 of the last 3 years. I hope he goes well.
