Default Melbourne blundered ...

I heard the other day that Joe Gutnick said if he was still involved with Melbourne he would have got Kevin Sheedy.

In my view Melbourne blundered badly by not signing Kevin Sheedy.

1. Membership which is very poor would have been significantly higher with the Sheedy factor. Plus Sheedy is a great marketer. Melbourne needs marketing.

2. List management. Would Sheedy have got rid of so much experience, including players that added some toughness at the ball and the man with the ball like Godfrey?

What's going on? Over 85 views and not one person posting their opinion. Does that mean everyone agrees with me?

Well, I for one agree. Not only has Sheedy proven himself as a great coach, but he is a great marketer. Desperately needing a membership lift, you would have thought it was logical for Melbourne to have appointed Sheedy as coach.
