Schonegg, if Kevin Sheedy was in charge on any of those teams they would be in a much better situation. Fremantle would probably be in the eight. Essendon would be challenging eg. Patrick Ryder who Sheedy had such a massive opinion of, and played top football under Sheedy, would probably be playing much better football than now. Melbourne would be in a far better financial situation with Sheedy's promotional skills - surely there would have been a jump in membership - and would have done better on the field. Would Sheedy have immediately got rid of so many experienced, hard players such as Godfrey?
