Punters were well on top at Rosehill last Saturday. Bookmakers paid the price by risking the flying Spark Of Life in the group 2 Premiere Stakes.

There was some thought that Spark of Life may be a query over the 1200 but the Allan Denham trained sprinter was very strong at the finish.

Spark of Life will now head to Melbourne to contest the Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley on September 11th. Most of the money in the race was for the winner including one bet of $10,000 at $1.85.
