A while back (about a year now I think) betfair hit up a lot of the botting software and told them they had to stop their software allowing less then minimum bets. Most of the companies complied.

I wonder if Gruss was one of them.

No, I use Gruss, works ok

The back bet is not placed at SP Chrome - place it as a normal back bet (BACK-SP if using excel to place the bet) & the 'At in play' option should be set to 'SP', so in the Options-Preferences-General select 'Convert to SP' as the default action if unmatched before turned in play.
