Default Adjusting Prices

I need information on adjusting prices after scratchings, if you were using the pre-post paper market how would you adjust the price if the fav was removed before the race

If your actual odds are in Column A

Then the "normalised to 100%" odds can be shown in Column B as

=A1/COUNT(A:A)*HARMEAN(A:A)

(replicating for all runners)

Simply delete any scratchings at any time and the thing will still work.

simply multiply/divide that expression appropriately:

eg: divide it by 1.20 if you want to frame to a 120% market.

Go to
Ozracetools

There is a free market reframer program there which can be set to any percentage.
Plus some other punting tools.

Cheers.
