Here is one that's not to bad. Using Uni TAB rating 96 seems to work well.

There were 49527 horse form lines in the database at this point in time. We update when we get time.

There were 983 selections for the System
There were 126 Winners for the System for a strike rate of 12.82%
There were $1227.85 returned for WIN (after 5% commission) which means a Profit or loss of $244.85 or a percentage profit/loss of 24.91%

Test Another System

The Rules used were : barrier >= 5 and barrier <=10 and rating = 96 and weight >= 54 and weight <=58 and distance >= 1000 and distance <=1600

If you add Cond='G' you get these results.

There were 49527 horse form lines in the database at this point in time. We update when we get time.

There were 625 selections for the System
There were 77 Winners for the System for a strike rate of 12.32%
There were $838.89 returned for WIN (after 5% commission) which means a Profit or loss of $213.89 or a percentage profit/loss of 34.22%

Test Another System

The Rules used were : barrier >= 5 and barrier <=10 and rating = 96 and weight >= 54 and weight <=58 and distance >= 1000 and distance <=1600 and cond = 'G'

We're all churning out profitable systems like sausages.

I Like it.

UB can confirm the database date range, but I'm pretty sure its as of August 2011 to mid December so approx 4.5 months..... or an average of approx 250 bets per month.....in my book that is a "few".......

Im a little behind but yes this is right 7th August 2011 I think.

I am loading a bit more data tonight so as a suggestion if you had a system and want to see how it goes real time you can compare the results from before the data update till after the update.

Thanks once again for providing such a tool for our use UselessBettor, much appreciated.
Just one question, is there any chance in the future you might add the option for selecting Metro or Provincial meetings?

Its been asked a few times and I have lists to do it but right now I haven't had a chance. The best I can give is that at some point if I get time I'll be adding it in.

Fair enough, I can understand how time consuming it must be to keep your database up to date.

Thumbs up

I like the ideas around the Don Scott ratings expressed here.

Perhaps an addition which can't be measured by a data base is the jockey.

Before I usually confirm a bet the rider must be a hot jockey.

This can be found in R&S stat section.
