say your top rater is 20.Next horse 2 points lower it would be 18,next is 5 points it would = 15. total = 53.Divide 20/53x100 = 37.7%.100/37.7 = $2.65. 18/53x100 =34% = $2.95 .15/53x100 =28% = $3.60

Open new system in PPP2

Name -- BR ODDS

Venue -- MSBA (or whatever)
TAB# -- 1 - 24 (ditto)

Run Sys for complete list of BR Odds

Have fun. Mel

Hi Ian
Sorry I shot my mouth off before I put my feeble mind in gear.
The odds listed as a result of the BR Odds suggestion are in fact the normal system odds. They are not the Better Rating odds.

I have erroneously used this method to put an odds assessment alongside the percent figure generated by Better Ratings.

We have both learned something from this misguided suggestion.
For my part it still suits my purpose as I only wanted an indicator. However there can be considerable difference to the BR-Odds.
For your part you have learnt not to trust an old fool.
Thetout's proposal is going to give you odds which will be directly related to the BR percent ratings.
Dont have as much fun but still keep smiling. Mel
