Default Testing of Melbourne Cup system

Hi all,

i am very new to this site, so don't want to break any rules at all so any help with the following would be greatly appreciated.

Let me first say that i am not a punter. I am however a computer administrator.

I believe that i have created a program for picking MC trifectas and the First 4. I have back tested it for the past 6 years with an 80% strike rate so far.

I am looking for one, maybe two, (at the most) other people to test this system of mine as well - THIS IS NOT A PROMISE OF MONEY OR A **** I AM JUST SEEKING PEOPLE WHO KNOW ALOT ABOUT THE MELBOURNE CUP AND THE LEAD UP RACES. If you do want to help and if your knowledge is sufficient for the testing purpose, then it is up to you whether you want to use it or not.

It's all based on mathmatics.

I am not sure if i am allowed to put up my email address here, but if you do know how we can get in contact, please post it up.

Thanx

He's PinkFloyd's dad, married to WhiteFloyd (Pink's mum). Another triumph for mixed colour marraiges.

That would be awesome.

So far, all my testing has been done through one semi-pro punter. I want to compare results of this program with the input from another 1 maybe 2 punters.

The only trifecta it hasn't picked in the last six years was 2004 with Zazzman coming in. So needless to say that it didn't pick the first 4 that year either that year. But with more information, i believe there is a way of picking anomalies like this as well, maybe???

Hi RedFloyd,
I have a database going back many years but I'm certainly no e x pert on the Melbourne cup. Horses are just numbers to me and the melbourne cup is just another long race. I'm happy to test things for you but it would be purely number crunching on results. If someone who knows one race from another is more to your liking - better choose them but I'm here as a last resort.
