A little off topic but funny you mention stables darky. There was a thread maybe 3-4 months ago talking about having a stable of horses and backing them only after being 3 runs into their prep and following them if they met certain criteria with some loss recovery.

I didn't really try it for very long or give it much of a chance and only ever added one horse to my black book to follow. I'd completely forgot about it until last week I got an email about Melburg running on the wednesday (i thinkit was?). Obviously wouldn't have qualified as I think it was its first run back from a spell but it won at $50 - I didn't back it.

Anyway off topic but was quite amusing last week, just thought i'd share given the talk of a stable.

Hi EvajB,
It makes more sense to me to follow good consistent Tipsters than follow a stable of Horses.
These blokes consistently get good priced horses up week after week.

I wish the Hxll you,d tip as I consider you amongst the best.

Cheers.

I,ve decided to follow for 2 weeks then discard as its almost impossible to string 2 winning weeks together.

Well done. I hope you didn't spend more than that on it though.
So the QQ is still alive and kicking?

I can't get back into the traders mindset with varying results lately despite being able to trade 4 meetings yesterday.

I thought I'd found something that worked that SpeedyBen mentioned in another thread however it didn't go too well in the UK overnight.

But enough of my dilemmas, good luck with that quest.
