By the way I can remember this one being around about 45 years ago in the UK,

a variation that was said to have better success was pick the paper fav with greatest gap in odds to the second quoted fav, i.e. 2-1 to 5-1, beats 1-1 to 6-4 etc etc (although of course sometimes its the same horse)

But in any case darky, Balina r7 pity you didn't stick to R 'n'20-1+ thingo eh? always the way!

I wasted the 1st 40 years of my life WORKING (Oh the shame of it) before I discovered the Dole office and pawn shops.
Its all uphill from that point though.
The Border Collie is a darn sight smarter than I was.
Even at the mention of that 4 letter word -WORK -it growls and puts on a performance.
Nowadays I,m usually up the pub by 2PM.
