DECEMBER TIPPING COMP Week 4 (Sun,Dec26)
RULES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (a) $100 to bet with. Win OR each-way betting. (no place betting) Maximum of 2 horses a race. Any meeting covered by Unitab. (b) Everyone must bet $20 on either of the selected Feature races. (c) Everyone must pick out a $20 win all-up bet with 2 horses at one of the tracks. (d) The other $60 to be divided up as you wish, but you can only bet either $10 OR $20 on any race. You can have 3 $20 races or 6 $10 races, or any combination you wish as long as it adds up to $60. These extra bets CAN include the horses you picked in your all-up, but not your feature race tips. (e) Of course, all tips to be posted prior to jump time of your first bet. (f) If you get a scratching, you can replace that horse provided you do it with a new post. Do not edit your original post. If you don't replace your scratched horse, the money will simply be refunded. Sportznut.
I haven't really been following the horse racing forum too closely. Does the leader board here mean that if I followed Chuck for December,I would be over $800 more in my bank account? Looks like there are a lot of winning punters in your comp! |
Mo,
Those figures don't actually include the amount bet which is $100 a week, so it's not as good as perhaps it looks. But if you had followed Chuck's tips to the letter, you would have $837 back from 300, so that's $537 in front. Last edited by sportznut : 24th December 2004 at 11:45 AM. |
The real winners
Well in that case,I'd like to declare that Chuck appears to be the most consistent profitmaker on this forum.
Anyone out there think different? |
feather, I don't suppose you could change that. You're supposed to bet either $10 OR $20 on each race, not $12. At least not for this week anyway. I'm thinking of changing the rules slightly for 2005 to give people more freedom to have different amounts on different races. |
