Default 6 point divisor and place betting

Has anybody had any success using the 6 point plan and place betting? Have a system which is showing a small pot, and was thinking of playing with the 6 point plan and see the results. Now the problem is that because the divis are obviously small, it is hard to clear the target, unless you have a small divisor, ie 1.5 or lower, it gets to the point where you might as well level stakes, or the bets climb quickly die to the small divisor. Has anybody tweaked the plan at all to suit place betting? Or perhaps a similiar taget betting plan? My average divi is $1.90, and the lowest price i try to accept is $1.70, although with TAB odds fluctuating, this can loweer after the jump. Any thoughts on this? I know darkydog is a big fan of the 6 point plan, any pointers darky?

Hi Thorns.

I cant see any way to use the 6 pointer with place betting due to the unexpected low dividends.

Cheers.
