how you can leave Warning Tune out of your top 3 is beyond me WAOS
 WTs last start York Cup performance would have to be far superior to that put in by Marooned Prince in the Carnarvon Cup and start before at Belmont equally impressive Got to be MAD to leave out of your calculations  Last edited by westman : 6th October 2005 at 09:54 PM. Reason: hiccup!

Ya need that mileage!!!
We all know you have to put in the mileage to win one of these big cups – KONTIKI SIR – need I say more
 Six top trial runs from last eight starts!! That’s what I call mileage! Why wait for race days when you can trial as well. And past two runs in the city had to be seen to be believed. Definitely the one to beat in a very classy field!!

His dad Montjeu won a lot group races between 1600m to 2400m including the French and Irish Derbies. So DD is also bred to stay.

Free At Last
Read a report that the future racing plan for Free At Last may change following her unplaced run in the Cranbourne Cup. Instead of staying in Melbourne in the hope she can qualify for the Melbourne Cup may now be heading back west to continue her current campaign on home soil
