Question Favourites in systems

I have been reading this forum for a couple of years now and just 'bout every System posted here has at it's core selecting the pp favourite or top of tipsters poll.
It seems to me that all such systems are doomed to fail as we all know following favourites or short priced horses is just a recipe for disaster...... and the bookies just love the favoirite punters - it's their bread and butter.

Your thoughts, personally I would not touch a horse under 4/1.

There have been many systems here that don't chase favorites or/and have nothing to do with tipsters polls.

$2 to $5.50 is where the winners are and the punting profit is. Concentrating exclusively above or below those figures is full of peril and so is any systems throwing up a lot of selections outside that price range because that is were most winners are.

I believe most systems usually bring up the Favorite or a very low priced horse is their usually filled with an over abundance of rules.

I agree with your comments on pricing - Though 3/1 is my normal MINIMUM cut off point.

Cheers.
