Thanks lomaca. I don't know a good jockey from a monkey (probably why I'm better at trading than betting ).

Not many of them about I can tell you, hence my warning, there are few bets and one must be very careful but it's very satisfying when they come in a good odds.

I give you two examples but beware even they don't win every time, the horse matters a lot too.

One is as I mentioned is M Rodd the other is Holly McKechnie, she is excellent but be prepared to watch her losing the ones you think are in the bag and then suddenly win a race with a no-hoper.
She mostly rides in the provincial and country races but comes to the city from time to time.

I think the best is to select and follow your fav. jockey.

In your case I'd probably stick to what you are good at.

I would put a very small wager on two today,
BARRY, T WHISKEY IN THE JAR Bendigo R2 this one may place?

The other one is TWIGINTHEDESERT Bendigo R6 although strictly speaking not a qualifier because she has two rides today but I rate this one of hers as the better of the two, an E/W chance.

Of course I may have it the wrong way around?
Small wagers only!!! and good luck with it.

It seems this NON SYSTEM is aptly named.
The Rules seem very flexible to be an actual System.

I notice P Mertens only had the 1 ride and won the first race at $13.30. At least I'd heard of him before.

Yes I noticed it and was considering, but I usually leave races with more than two firststarters, alone.

Looks like if the jockey rule applies and his horse is also a first starter in a similar field then it should be considered.
Peter M is definitely one of the hoops I follow.

This is the sort of win you need, and specially if early enough in the day you can stop betting.

I only included Linda Meech because she is a good rider not because she qualified.
Looks like I should have been tipping her on a different thread as mentioning here has upset someone.

She still has one more ride, will be interesting to see what happens, I would be surprised if she didn't at least place.

bugrrrr I have to change my software to show the initials as well as the surname!!!!
There are two Rawillers at the Bendigo meeting.

But at least the "system" is proven, not that I needed it,
have been using it for yonks.

Just don't get carried away and bet on everything!

Ps place2win I only use this on Victorian races not familiar with interstate jockeys.
