Wink Unitab Greyhound System

Because of the ongoing success with the Unitab ratings on the gallopers I've looked at the greyhounds from last Wednesday. The following system did not had a losing day with Place betting but I have'nt checked Win betting.

1 ) At least a 6 points gap between top and second selection.
2 ) Won or ran second at last start.

Four selections today:
Albion Park R5 no.8
Cranbourne R2 no.7
Shepparton R4 no.1
Launceston R8 no.2

I hear they come from 'raicing & spoorts' - not too sure.

Well done Michael.

I have always been suprised at the strong divs the Dogs seem to deliver considering there is usually only 8 runners compared to Horses with a similar field size.

Cheers.

Wink

Unitab gets their horse ratings from Racing and Sports, but because it seems that R & S have no greyhound stats/ratings I would assume Unitab gets theirs elsewhere.

Bhagwan, as to the dogs Place divvies - I first looked at the method with the Trots, which obtained a high stike rate. However the Unitab divvies were pathetic - there were quite a few money-back divvies, and even one success paid $1.00 for the win and $1.00 for the place. I gave up.

However the greyhound Unitab divvies were quite pleasing. From memory, there was only one success that paid money-back.

Maybe for some unknown reason the Unitab 'hound divvies are superior to the other TABs? For example, yesterday's three successes paid:

Albion Park - $1.40 with NSW TAB, $1.90 with Unitab.
Shepparton - $1.60 as opposed to $1.70
Launceston - $1.04 as opposed to $1.50.

The total return with NSW TAB was $4.04 yet on Unitab it was $5.10 - the profit difference is huge. Providing the method continues to profit I will compare NSW TAB/Unitab divvies.

When I said the method had no losing days since last Wednesday I was using Unitab divvies. However I would now not be surprised if this was not the case with NSW TAB divvies.

Default trots

i find that short priced harness horses are more susceptible to getting beaten when they are odds on opposed to horses. Especially if they draw the back row. The odds are poor too. Never in my life have i seen a horse go around at $1.00 win/place yet it happens in harness racing.

I have never understood how a Trotter priced at $1.00 ,one can do their doe if it falls over but money back if successful.

How can this technically be called a betting agency.

They appear to be legally allowed to do this , yet they dont like the idea of Betfair being in exsistance.

Are bookies allowed to do this?

its usually only on really poor pools that achieve dividends like that-late nite trots and dogs. also large allups or parlays can do this if it happens to be the last leg of someones bet on a short priced fav. Best bet-go exotics.

i had a quick look over sportsalive and it seems they pretty well pay best tote on all races any day, even the dishies and chariots, never seen a bookie offer that.
