Default Peter Principle

To open a point of discussion.
"Do horses go up in class until they rise above their class and never win anymore races?" Do they stop being contenders and become just racecard fillers?
They no longer are competitive in the new class and are penalised when they drop in class. How long do they langish in limbo until somebody realises that the horse is over-classed? At least in golf, if you have a blinder followed by your normal game, then your handicap starts going out again.

This was a problem when we had classes such as CL1, CL2 ... CL6 but the new rating classes are meant to stop this occurring. If a horse keeps running non places it will drop in its rating and therefore fall back to a competitive class for example RTG 80 vs RTG 86.

I DONT KNOW BUT WITH MY HORSE HE HAS A RATING OF 61 AND HAS ONLY WON 1 RACE SO HE ALWAYS HAS A BIG WEIGHT TO CARRY.

IF I WANT THE WEIGHT TO GO DOWN I HAVE TO PUT HIM IN A HARDER RACE THEN HE WILL ONLY GO DOWN TO 55,56 KG.

I agree 100% beton. Tears I Cry is an excellent case study. Fluked a Group 1 win then couldn't win for several years until it eventually dropped back to it's correct class, and from memory then won a few races in a row.
