Hi all,

I'm looking for a staking plan of some sorts to use on Sportsbetting. I currently use the Retirement staking plan on my horse racing betting. I'm not sure of how it would work betting on AFL, Premier League, etc. when the prices are so much shorter.

thanks in advance

You should size your bet based on:
1. Your advantage.
2. The probability of the payoff.
3. The amount of variance you can handle.
4. Your record.

1. You shouldn't be betting without this.

2. You can bet more on sports than horses due to the fact that you will have a higher strikerate.

3. If you hate wild fluctuations, bet smaller .

4. You really need some sort of idea of how well your bets will perform going forward. A large smaple of your previous results would help you here.

If you are just starting betting on new sports, then you really have no idea on how well they will perform. So you'd be very conservative, and bet a max of 2%.

I am just starting to take Sports betting seriously so I have no records of past results unlike my Horse Racing betting I have records for the past 12 months.

So looks like I'll start small and work from there.

thanks Mr J.
