Race 5

a good FFA race here with Running Casino (5) the favourite with 5 wins from 6 starts this T/D. has plenty of early pace and the one to beat. that said there are a few other runners in this to give it a shake. Milk Run (1) hasn't drawn the rails in a while and will relish the slow beginners on its outside. has won 4 from 7 when drawn the inside and in the hands of top trainer Neil Staines. Runaway Promises (6) will be looking to get back into the winners circle here after a couple of poor runs at Gosford and Bathurst. Did win at Canberra and the Meadows before that. Cool Ruby (7) hasn't shown its best in a while but gets the chance here with a good run early outside the 5 and 6. of the 4 other runners not mentioned all have a chance. tough race.

Race 6

Miss Bahamas (5) is the best bet of the day. UNLOAD. the poor draw should be negated by her awesome early speed. not too much early dash around her either will see her win this with a leg in the air. Jack Nose (1) has been down on form lately but gets the chance to bounce back here with it being a weak field outside of the favourite. of the rest Lana's Osti (8) could figure but doesn't like a wide draw too much and Sudden Lift (3) will be running on

Race 7

Two Six Two (5) was an impressive winner this T/D two starts back in 26.05. Has good early pace. Pokey Louise (7) is the class runner in the field and looks the danger to the yellow. resumes from 6 week break and loves a wide draw. Tyler's Legend (3) is a recent Canberra winner in good time but has been unimpressive in two Bathurst runs to date while Cool Jess (2) has an abundance of early pace and was an impressive Richmond winner recently.

Race 8

Finnster (6) obviously the one to beat here after a recent 30.27 victory this T/D. has mixed its form but this could be one it takes out. Ebony Eraser (1) looks well placed from the rails and is my pick for the race. looks improved by every career start today. hasn't drawn the rails before and could be juicy odds. Elite Dior (2) makes its Bathurst debut and was greatly benefited by the step up to 520m at Dubbo last start, winning well. Movealong Wilson (3) has a nice record this T/D and looks the best of the rest.

Race 9

a maiden for the penultimate race on the cards and a i did have a special here in the green rug however i am very wary of the two dog. My Mum Token (6) is a first starter but i've heard on the grape vine this dog has trialled 26.08 at Bathurst which will win this. Hopefully will get decent odds. The big danger is the other first starter, this one for premier trainer Darren Sultana. rarely has a bad dog and Always a Story (2) has trialled well at Richmond for this. Trance Atlantic (1) will enjoy the inside draw and recently ran 26.28 here getting beat. best of the rest is Perilous (8) for Carolyn Reinke.

Race 10

Good race to finish with the 1,2 and 8 all having claims to take this out. looks the trifecta. Sloy Zilla (2) is looking to keep its perfect record going here for Darren Sultana. Debuted here with a 26.02 win and was impressive coming from off the pace last start in 26.30. Macsantos (8) has mixed form so far but an impressive 26.06 win here cant be ignored. Second Mortgage (1) will need to find its early zest again to win this one. If it cant hold out the checks early then its all over. Youtar Elgwarno (3) will be improved from its first start at Bathurst.
