Default Luck in Running

I don't want to hijack other threads here, because there's some of the best stuff I've seen for a while.

Does anyone factor luck into their system's percentages.

Either your own horse's bad luck, I did recently post over a 100 reasons why a horse could lose .....

Or a competitor's good luck ie; a fickle horse at peak fitness luckily finds itself in the only position it can ever win from, one out and one back, and the only track it can win at too .....

Talk of 25% S/R and POT of 80% MUST include good and bad luck. Or do we assume luck is included in the "maximum" losing streak, or in the S/R ?? There are many posts that suggest systems go OK for years then fall in a hole ..... Bad Luck ??? ..... or CYCLICAL ..... or just that the operator was tweaking the system out of existance.

Favourites have won @ 30% since the year dot, so a decent system shouldn't fall over.
